The City of Chicago has announced an extension to their Property Tax Rebate Program, which was implemented to help off-set the recent property tax spike for Chicago residents. Certain residents are able to receive a rebate from the City if they meet eligibility requirements, including a household adjusted gross income of $75,000 or less earned in 2015 and an increase in the City portion of their recent property tax bill received in July of 2016. Applications are now being accepted through Friday, December 30, 2016.
